June continued the strong momentum established throughout the spring, with buyer activity remaining healthy across much of Indiana despite persistently limited inventory. Many communities recorded increased transaction volume alongside exceptionally low months of inventory, reinforcing the competitive conditions that continue to characterize many local markets.
Pricing remained resilient overall, with several suburban communities, regional markets, and lakefront areas posting moderate gains in average sale price. Where pricing softened slightly, the changes largely reflect the mix of homes that closed during the month rather than broad shifts in market value. Luxury markets remained active as well, with Central Indiana recording another increase in sales volume while maintaining stable pricing.
One of the most notable trends in June was the continued improvement in market efficiency. Many communities experienced significantly fewer days on market, with several averaging less than one month from listing to sale. Combined with inventory levels that remain well below a balanced market in many areas, these trends suggest that well-priced homes continue to attract strong buyer interest. As always, market conditions remain highly localized, with performance varying by community, price point, and property type.
