What do you love most about living in Indiana?
The people, midwest hospitality and general kindness.
How does Encore Sotheby’s International Realty provide value to your clients?
Being a luxury brand that provides a luxury level of service, not related to a price point.
What is the most fulfilling part about being a real estate agent?
Helping people to achieve their goals. Making personal connections that last a lifetime. Over the years I have met and helped many people move in and out of the Indianapolis area, which is very gratifying.
Have you had any crazy experiences while in the field?
Yes, but not to elaborate on!
What motivates you?
The hustle and energy of the business, I thrive when I’m busy.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Paris – For the beauty and romance of the city and also the art, food and fashion.
What’s your top piece of advice for clients who are selling a home? What about buying a home?
For Sellers: Declutter, less is more to be picture-perfect and showing-ready. For Buyers: Have a mortgage pre-approval or proof of funds letter before you start looking at properties.
What do you do from a philanthropic standpoint?
I often collect items for various charity auctions.
What are your most enjoyable hobbies?
Playing the game of Mahjong, hosting dinner parties, going to local art shows and attending Pacers basketball games. I also love to travel.
What are your best recommendations of things to do and see for people moving to Indiana from out-of-state?
Visit the Indianapolis Zoo and the Children’s Museum. Go to a Pacers game, Colts game and an Indianapolis Indians game. Visit downtown Carmel and Bottleworks/ Mass Ave downtown. Eat at Late Harvest Kitchen, a locally owned restaurant by Chef Ryan Nelson located on the Northside of Indianapolis.
What’s your favorite design trend and what’s got to go?
Wallpaper has made a comeback! I always like a pop of color, it defines a space and puts your personal touch on it. It’s time for the modern farmhouse to go!
