What do you love most about living in Indiana?
I love the Midwest energy. It’s a friendly, welcoming environment with a laid back feel but still a lot of amenities around you. I grew up here and still maintain a lot of the same relationships that I had when I was at a very young age which I think speaks to the community and how great it is.
How does Encore Sotheby’s International Realty provide value to your clients?
Being associated with such a well known global brand with rich history in providing quality service to its clients through its high level marketing and customer care is what really sets our brokerage a part from the others.
What is the most fulfilling part about being a real estate agent?
I think simply being a part of their real estate journey at all is such an amazing thing. Whether it’s selling or buying you know plenty of memories were or will be made and to be a resource and a guide to those people on such a big move in their life is what I’m most grateful for and what fulfills me the most about being a real estate broker.
Have you had any crazy experiences while in the field?
Let’s just say you never know what’s behind closed doors when you enter a home…
What motivates you?
Besides my family, the thing that motivates me most in this business is that for me it’s solely based on referrals so doing a great job for your client is everything. You want the best for them in this process and I pride myself in working as hard as I can to ensure a great result for everyone involved.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to travel to Spain and more specifically to Barcelona to watch a FC Barcelona match. It’s definitely a bucket list item for me.
What’s your top piece of advice for clients who are selling a home? What about buying a home?
Never rush into the any decision. Sit down with your broker to discuss your action plan, go over pros and cons and really consider all of your options as you go down this road. There are plenty of detours along the way but it’s important to have the foundation set so you can feel good and better informed about the process.
What do you do from a philanthropic standpoint?
Every year we volunteer with the Mozel Sanders Foundation serving Thanksgiving meals to hundreds of families in need. This past year they hit 1 million families served over their 50 year history!
What are your most enjoyable hobbies?
I’ve been playing soccer my whole life. I coached after I graduated from college and since then I’ve been playing with the same group of guys for the past 15 years. I just love the beautiful game.
What are your best recommendations of things to do and see for people moving to Indiana from out-of-state?
We have so many parks and trails which will lead you to some amazing parts of the city. Just hop on one and explore!
