Featured Agent | Elaine Eriksen

Prior to joining Encore Sotheby’s International Realty, Elaine was a pioneering member of one of the largest residential real estate companies in Indianapolis. Over the last decade, she has been able to build a distinguished reputation amongst the buying public, as a buyers’ consultant that truly analyzes the needs of her clientele – long before they ever set foot in a property.

Elaine is known for her consultative approach and wants to ensure that her buyers find EXACTLY what they desire in their new home. Her savvy and intimate knowledge of the Indianapolis market inventory makes her a tough competitor and allows Elaine the instinct to know exactly when she’s found a match for her clients. The proposal to join forces with the prestige of Encore Sotheby’s International Realty was sensible as Elaine’s recent focus has shifted her, more-often-than-not, into the high-end and custom-build market, of which she is now very familiar.

Elaine grew up on Long Island, graduated from Houghton College in upstate New York, and earned her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Alabama. Prior to residential real estate, Elaine started and owned Carmel-based, Key Interiors.

Elaine holds an Indiana Broker Associate license, is a proud 11-year member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors, the Indiana Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

In her leisure time, Elaine enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and takes an active role in her women’s Bible study. Elaine, and her husband Peter, are active members of College Park Church and have resided in Carmel for more than 30 years. They have two children, Kristy and Jonathan, and two grandchildren, Natalie and Henry.

What makes a house a home to you? When it is a place that is warm, welcoming, filled with joy and safety for all who come in.

Favorite thing to do or eat in Indianapolis: I love helping to develop a program called Watch Us Farm, which is building a future for Adults with Special Needs. I love eating out and trying new restaurants too.
