Kate Leach is our Lakes Branch Manager. With a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Indianapolis and past experience in insurance and banking, Kate brings corporate finance experience to our lakes office.

Working exclusively on each and every one of our lake properties, Kate has developed unmatched skill and knowledge of the real estate market in northern Indiana’s lakes region. Her professional and detailed approach keeps our listings updated and top-of-mind.

Kate grew up on Winona Lake and now splits her time between Syracuse Lake and Lake Wawasee. Happily married with a family, she’s raising her kids to be Indiana lake-lovers.

Kate serves on the Syracuse Wawasee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Lakeland Youth Center Kids First Auction Committee.

What makes a house a home to you? A home to me is all the intangible sounds, feelings and smells inside the four walls. It is my kids laughing while playing (and sometimes fighting) and the cozy snuggles after a long day. Home is the sound of my husband’s radio knowing he made it home safely from work. It is the chaos and the calm that life brings.
#1 tip for a new homeowner: Get to know your neighbors. Establishing a good relationship with neighbors goes a long way in making your day-to-day living more enjoyable. If you have kids, knowing which neighbors also have kids makes outdoor play more enjoyable. You might even have a neighbor with older kids that can babysit!
Favorite thing to do or eat in Syracuse/NE IN Lake: A must in the Syracuse area is a trip to The Sleepy Owl.
