In spite of the uncertainty that impacted so much of March 2020, real estate transactions increased in nearly every submarket as compared to March 2019. The report also details a lack of available homes for sale, including fewer than 3 months of inventory in many markets. It is difficult to predict what may come next, but we believe that the demand for housing will remain and return strong after the current COVID-19 crisis.
